Tires what kind?
If you had the chance to buy a new set of tires for you 00 maxima se with 17" rims (stock)
and you did not have to pay for them.....
what kind would you get?
(just doing my homework on tires and would like to get some opions)

of the older, more reputable tire companies, i'd say the michelins are the way to go (he's asking theoretical dream tires)
if they're free, stay away from the nittos.
i got my bfg's for free. i expensed them cuz i drove so much for work. if that's the case, get the michelins.

The Michelins ROCK!
Moses used a set of these!
The performance on the dry is not much better than the RE92s. Most people were in agreement that the RE92s were fairly decent on the dry.
A couple of nights ago, huge downpour, I was comming off the line @ 90-95% power with no slipping!
A couple of things I have found, and I would like the other Michelin guys to pass their 2 cents, they tend to squeel more when starting and going over painted lines (X-walks and the like), 2 at stock pressure (32 psi) they feel a little soft, I put mine up to 34 and things are much better.
