My MAX keeps stalling!!!!!!!
This is a very serious problem.
Car= 2000 GXE 5-speed. CALI SPEC.
Mods= Berk Tech HAI, Cattman Y pipe.
Problem= constant stalling.
Whenever I put the car in neutral, or press the clutch, the engine just dies.
I would be cruising, and I would pop the tranny in neutral cause there is a red light ahead. Now, the RPM would start dropping since the car is in neutral, BUT, it drops all the way to ZERO and the car just dies.
This happens at least 5 times a day whenever I'm on the road for more than an hour.
Couple times, I almost crashed the car because it happend while I was on a ramp. I was in a snake curve, and the steering just went dead cause the car stalled. I almost crammed the car straight into the guard rail.
I'm gonna put the factory intake back on and take it to the dealer in a few days.
MY CEL is also on right now. I pulled the code from AutoZone, and it turned out to be an oxygen sensor. Bank 1, sensor 2.
Does anyone else have stalling problems

Remember I told you it was doing that at the track, sounds like you are having a timing or an idle speed issue. Try the stock intake and take it to the dealer, they will see what is up when they run a diagnostic test on it.

did you disconnect your battery while installing your intake? How about doing it right now, disconnect for a half hr to reset your ECU?
I had the same problem after installing the Berk Intake, but it took only a few mile test drive for it to "learn" to keep the idle speed.
