Just waiting till i get the check from the bank and I pick up my new car:

a Pearl White 2002 Maxima SE Automatic. $17,500.

Has 24,000 miles and a few scratches, but, otherwise... I'm happy to get rid of my civic dx auto.

I opted for the Automatic due to the traffic conjestion in Vegas... plus, when you're tired, you don't want to be shifting.

Luckily, I still have my rims from my 2000 Max, as well as the rear sway bar. I just bought some maxspeed springs... those should be here by end of next week. The only other mod is going to be tint and replacing the taillamps with taillamps from a 00-01 SE.

So, who wants '02 tails... i'll straight trade you for '00-'01 SE tails. please PM me for more info.

whoa...why are you trading them? I think the 2k2/3 ones look better on white cars. But i guess it's all about personal preference.

 

i don't like the altezza look...

plus, if i slap them on...people will probably think i have a 00-01...

possibility of less HID theft...

plus, i had them on my 2000 max and they looked really nice

 

Does the sway bar from the 2K fit the 2002?

 

I have the 2001 GXE Red tailights and i REALLY want the 2k2 lights. If you wouldn't mind getting the red tailights I surely wouldn't mind a swap!

 

no no no, i have a set of 00-01 GXE/GLE red tails. I want the 00-01 SE black tails!

and yes the rear sway bar should fit 00-02 maxs. There shouldn't be any reason why they shouldn't, considering they didn't change anything with the suspension diamensions.

 

Sway bar does fit on all 00-03 maxes.

I would do the trade Driven EF9 but I just recently saw a black 2k2 and the rear to me straight up looked hideous.

my old 2000 Max had the 00-01 SE's with the entire circle painted red. Much like what was done here, but with the older tails...this was like a year and a half ago.
I thought I was the first one to do it, then i found like 5 other members had done it as well.

Geez, it sounds like you got a really good deal on that. I paid $18,900 for my 2k Maxima SE 5spd. It had 30,900 miles on it. Is yours fully loaded?

 

the only option i can see is the floor mats and auto. Otherwise, it's a pretty bare SE.

 

But emax painted his from the inside.
