Hi all!

I just got my Max 2k1 se 20th anniversary edition, and love it.

1 smallish issue, gas mileage. I have been using Mobil's
super. I have been seeing 20 mpg average. I do mostly
"spirited" highway travelling. The one long drive I did
in 5th gear the whole way, averaging 65-70, I got 23 mpg

Any thoughts on what is going on?

advertised. but please to a search for mileage in this forum. its been discussed alot and the explanations are in those posts.. its worth looking for them.

 

Put on some more miles on the car and the MPG will improve. I can cruise at 80mph and I'm getting around 29mpg

 

It will take U some time to break the car in. After 24K miles on mine I get about 370 fulltank on Hwy and about 450+ on hwy. Also Use synthetic oil and Synthetic Trans fluid, keep the air filter clean.
