Sterling Mist or Sunlit Sand

Hey. I am looking for a web resource that shows all of the different body paint colors for the 2001 Maximas. I need to buy some touchup paint(imagine that) and I need to figure out what color I got.

I believe it is sterling Mist. It looks silver when it is darker outside or nighttime, but it looks kinda tanish sandy when in bright sunlight.

Any ideas?

Check the color code. Open up your hood, it should be listed on bottom center of your hood.

If you can't tell whether you've got sterling mist or sunlight sand, you've got some serious color blindness

Seriously, do you still have your window sticker? that will tell the name of the color. The sticker under the hood will tell the color code (which is what you need to use when ordering.)

Also, the Sterling mist is just shiny primer to me. The sunlight sand is definately a beige/brown color.

It sounds like you have Sunlit Sand (code EV0 i think). Sterling mist is a true silver/light grey metallic in the daylight. Sunlit sand may look slightly silver at dusk but it is tan in the daylight.
