2k1 GXE 17k $14,500 good deal? need advice ASAP

Guys,

I have been looking for a Maxima for a while . Finally found this guy that lost his job and is willing to sell me his 2k1 maxima GXE.
The car is the base model, 5 speed manual, black, 17k.Condition is mint , no scratches and interior is mint.Owner agreed to sell it for 14,500.
My head is spinning from so much researching on the web. This is not the Maxima I wanted , but I have to decide if I want to spend 5-8k more for the options I want( 2k2,sunroof, 6 speed, etc)I guess one of you guys can be the best gauge on letting me now if I should go for it.I have to make a decision by tomorrow so please help me decide.
Thanks a bunch in advance.I want a maxima so bad though :-)

Go for it, Leo. With the money you'll save, you'll have plenty to spend on modding it.

go for it

i have 12,000 miles on my 01 gxe and i would never let it go for that low of a price. i was hoping i could get what i owe on it so i can get a 03max. that is a good deal. i would jump on it.
let me know when you get it. i have done some mods to the gxe to make it look better: fogs, spoiler, dash kit,se tails.

i know a place you can get the rear spoiler painted and shipprd for around 200. really nice spoiler.

its a manual so that is a plus, mine is autotragic!

good luck.
