OEM shocks

i did a search on this, but i didn't find anything relevant. this may seem like a dumb question, but how would i know if my stock shocks are bad? my car just isn't as pliant as it used to be 7500 miles ago...is there any way to visually inspect and see?

press down hard a few times on each of the corners of your car and see if the car rebounds and then immediately settles back still. If it keeps bouncing, your struts are on their way out.
