Custom maxima website ???

Hey Guys, I was about to buy a new front grill for my 2K1 maxima this morning, I went to the newly redesign website of custom maxima, after spending 30 minutes just trying to see the damn grill, I just couldn't do nothing on their new website, the browser just keep freezing, I saw it support Netscape 6 and flash 6, sorry to say it but Netscape 6 is a real bad browser it sucks, I remove it after having tons of problems, anyway I tried with Explorer not much happend. I dont know if Greg will loose customers but one thing for sure the requirement of the new site really sucks and will make customer go buy somewhere else. I guess it's time for the morning cafe. Just sharing my frustrating experience.

Cheers

I'm using Internet Explorer 6 and the latest Flash software and i've never had any problems viewing his site. Maybe your computer is just slow?

I dont think so, I have an Apple G4 Dual CPU @ 867 mhz with 1.2 GB ram and a Backplane RAID of 300GB that has transfer rate of 218 MB / seconde, I edit uncompressed SDI digital video so my computer is not slow. I suspect the new site only work with Netscape 6 or Explorer higher than 5.3 which is what I currently run, anyway I'll see if there is a more recent Mac version of Explorer that can make it.

Thanks for your input.

It says on the Flash introduction that the website requires the use of IE6 or Netscape 6. Most newer flash applications require IE6. BTW, don't use Netscape, it sucks, IE runs so much smoother.

try Netscape 7 if you want, but IE 5.2.1 on the mac works great

That's not what this thread is about. So keep your comments to yourself. I've bought plenty of stuff from Greg in the past without any problems.

Hi guys, my intentions where not to flame custommaxima.com, I have purchased from them before and the transaction went numero uno, dont get me wrong I've never had any complaint against their products and services or staff. I will check my computer set-up today and try to figure out what wrong, cuz before I had no problem logging and browsing and buying from their website.

Cheers
