Cant' believe it:

This morning I planned to give my 2k maxima the spa and bath treatment. Halfway through I was working on the interior and wanted to clean under the driver seat. No prob right, just push the power seat button forward.

Uh we have a freakin problem, the damn thing won't work. Couldn't move the dang seat forward or backwards. What was weird though was all other movements worked (up, down, etc).

I haven't had any problems with my max thus far, it's 2.2 years old with approx $28K miles. I can't believe it, my max has let me down. Thank goodness it's still under warranty.

I guess the max is mortal after all. Has anybody else had this problem, sorry I didn't do a search before writing this. Thanks everyone for shouldering my pain.

 

probably just got some gear bound on the track.. I think there is a new service bulliten out that may be about your problem. try alldata.com

my drivers seat is starting to make a strange noise whenever adjusted fowards or backwards. it's starting to bug me. it still works, for now... what should i do? grease it up? any suggestions, tim?

 

noise might be lack of lube somewhere or debris in the track.. get a flashlight and a small mirror and take a look.
