Tein/JIC coilovers

hey guys, i saw a post about Tien/Tein, however u spell it, is making coilovers for the 5th gen and was wondering, who is the more respectuable company and quality of product? I honestly have never heard of JIC before they made coilovers for the max, i've heard about Tien/Tein for honda accords, so any info, suggestions would be welcome. thanks alot.

The two companies you speak of are excellent suspension component companies. JIC is actually known more then Tein this is especially true with the sedan type application. There is a Japanese magazine called "The Big Sedan" it is all about the Sedan scene in Japan and JIC is usually present on all the cars in the mag. They specialize in big cars.

Where can you pick that Mag up at? Is there a site to order it?

Thanks

Hey Myktek, you planning on doing road racing or something? You're suspension drop is good already, do you really need to spend $1500 on coilovers? If I were you, I'd save up for an SC or turbo .

For maximas application, JIC is better than Tein. Cuz why? Tein only offers SS Damper for A33 maximas and it's not even their top of line coil-overs. But JIC offers FLT-A2 for maximas which is top of line.

And of course the JIC will cost more than Tein! Wanna play, better pay

On second thought, get the JICs. We need to support the big name companies that make parts for us by buying their products, so they'll see there's a market here and make more stuff for our cars.

Aww man they are both awesome respective companies that put a LOT of R&D into their products! I'd be honored if they start making products for us!
They are just awesome.
My friend has a 1992 240sx with some Tein(don't know which model) coilovers and it feels awesome; He STRONGLY believes that it can take at least 1g on the skid(not that skid pad numbers matter)but it feels soooo tight!

either one they both rock.....I'll quit spazing out now.

I was going to get Tokicos for the fronts and KYB AGXs for the rears. Now I'll have to figure something else out for the fronts.
