OBX B5 or POWERTECH DUAL 3.5"
OBX B5 or POWERTECH DUAL 3.5"
guys i am thinking to exchange my current muffler, cuz i think it's too small. my two choices r obx b5 and powertech dual 3.5" mufflers, what do u guys think? i know all of u love powtertech, but just need some suggestions!
thanks!
thanks!
I just bought a Powertech off of another member and I REALLY like the appearance. The quality looks to be good, too. The only thing I noticed is that the point where the chrome tips meet up with the body of the muffler is NOT welded...there is a seam. No biggie, but maybe the OBX is an all-welded muffler

Cali Spec is where you have 4 plugs in front of the engine. FedSpec has only 2 plug connectors right infront of the engine in front of the valve cover.

I have a 2000SE (Cali Spec) and I bought this high flow cat from ebay for $55:

The pipe is awesome. It's a lot like a test pipe (you can see right through the middle of it. But unlike a test pipe, here in NY, it will pass the visual inspection because it does contain a small amount of catalyst material and is fatter than a straight pipe. This is stainless and should last longer than the test pipe.
