I just bought a Powertech off of another member and I REALLY like the appearance. The quality looks to be good, too. The only thing I noticed is that the point where the chrome tips meet up with the body of the muffler is NOT welded...there is a seam. No biggie, but maybe the OBX is an all-welded muffler

I haven't seen anyone with the top powertech muffler as of yet. Everyone seems to be choosing the 3.5 or 4 inch.

The powertech is a straight through design. If you want to get a body kit later, I would get the 3.5" one cause the dual 4" one will not clear the kit at all like I have run into.

You want to hear the powertech on my car with a Ypipe, Testpipe, Place Racing Intake?

Since you in Cali, get it from this guy at www.testpipe.com. he is Money on making them and makes them for about $35-45.

We get the Powertechs from this seller on eBay.

Cali Spec is where you have 4 plugs in front of the engine. FedSpec has only 2 plug connectors right infront of the engine in front of the valve cover.

I have a 2000SE (Cali Spec) and I bought this high flow cat from ebay for $55:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1851858546

The pipe is awesome. It's a lot like a test pipe (you can see right through the middle of it. But unlike a test pipe, here in NY, it will pass the visual inspection because it does contain a small amount of catalyst material and is fatter than a straight pipe. This is stainless and should last longer than the test pipe.

That is true, if you live in an area where they use mirrors on a stop, then you might want this one. But if not, then you might only want the normal testpipe. In the south they dont give a damn. They just happy to see you got an exhaust.
