If we're talking about the sunroof wind deflector.. mine broke due to a flying turkey. Think it'll be covered under warranty? =]

I'm not kidding, was going upstate in NY from Long Island.. when this turkey decided to try to flap across the road. One more good flap and he would have cleared instead of scraping up the paint on the roof and breaking the deflector.

And no.. never saw it again.. and I did NOT bring it home for dinner.

here we go again...

I think i'm gonna call a service guy just to rub the salt in that it was defective material... huntington beach nissan service tech kept saying it was due to the factory installers the first time it was cracking and due to the service guys at roseville(sactown) nissan the second time it started to crack.... I'm an mechanical engineer and did study a few things about materials science... the fool was so stuck on his diagnosis that he didn't even consider my observation...

Mine began cracking in several spots after 1000 miles on a 2k3 SE. Dealer ordered new one under warranty with no issues other than the national backlog. It also appears that the new replacement retails for $136 where as the 'defective' ones retailed for $69 up until the beginning of Sept. Double the price to get it right makes you wonder.
