02 Max vs. ES300

First of all i'm not into racing folks but I hate it when arrogant folk think they are king of the road and try to pic on people. You know the guy that have expensive cars that think they can just pic on allthe lowly cars eventhough anybody with some car knowledge know their cars are overpriced bricks.

This guy has a 97-01 Lexus ES300 and as we all know they make about 210hp and are very heavy, slow cruisers and are 4spd autos. he is taking off at every light tailing people and cutting people off causing people to break all the time.
Well I caught up to his butt that day (he does it all the time) and we were side by side. Plus there was a Acura TL/S right behind me!!! I knew he was going to try and floor it so I got ready to hand him my ***. I took off and left him and the TL/S in the dust of course the Lexus did want to take this womping, so he gets behind me and tries to keep up with me. I am walking his butt but he is always trying to get over so he can get right along side of me. However he can't even keep up to me! It was so funny I swear!

The TL/s was driven by a woman and it had some nice chrome rims she wasn't tring to race she was just trying to look cute for the guy in the Lexus I think, or maybe the Maxima

Nice job...every now and then you have to put people in their places...like this jetta on the highway the other night. Three times he tried to race me, three times I killed him..oh yeah, I only used the n2o the last time to make a point...

Man, I know how that goes. I hate when peeps think they are all that and a bag of chips because they have an expensive car.

BTW, I had a few victims get their comeuppance the hard way (ES 300 (he was actually pretty cool), S Type 4.0, C4 Corvette, CL)

1997-1998 ES300 3.0L 200HP non-VVTi
1999-2001 ES300 3.0L 210HP VVTi

These cars are good for low-mid 16's, high 15's if your lucky. They put down around 150-155fwhp. The thing with the ES300 is that it doesn't cut out during top speed runs. Its limited only by drag.

This was a 97-01 ES300 and I am positive those things don't go for less than 30K I don't see the bonus of a ES300 over a 02 Max other than the name but it's the best selling car in it's class last I checked.

i ran the current V6 camry before, the guy was behind me then jumped beside me & lined up. This was a year ago when I was stock, so light turns green & we both hammer it & off we go, his hood goes to my B pillar, then trunk lid, then i stopped & he just kept going 80+mph on city street

*sigh* I'm in my "break in" period still, so I would've had to let the Lexus and Acura go by.

Yes I just read your trend and that is just too good a story to be true especially with the 2001-02 Maxima. I raced a Impala SS and I was amazed I took him especially since I had a 200+lb friend in the car with me!!! Great job and great driving

Thanks Marcus.............this kill is one of my most memorable partly because of the price difference between his car and mine. The Mulsanne Turbo costs over $300 thou......and yes......that guy learned the meaning of Oppama, Japan that evening.
