I will be installing a sts. What is the recomended height to adjust the ball to?

 

I got mine as far down as I could with out rubbing the heat shield. I like it. Some people modify heat shields to get even shorter throw. If you're doing it yourself and have time, try putting the ball all the way up and running it with out a heat shield. if you like is just modify the heat shield. if not, you can always move the ball down.
