Has anyone gone with 255's on a 5th gen with 18 or 19 inch wheels ? I am running 245/35 Nitto 555's on a 8.5 inch wide wheel. My wheel sticks out to much further than my tire does. I seem to be riding on a tire that is too small for my wheel width. I get no rubbing at all... , but I would like to go to 255's or maybe even 265's...... Any info you guys can share ???

You have 255's on stock 7 inch wide wheels ?? .. Beware of the guy on the ORG with the Tire size fetish.. He will flame you !

WOW ...... he's got 275/30/19 I wonder if there's any rubbing at all.

 

His car is tight I wonder what those wheels would look like in chrome? I wanted to sign his guess book but he doesn't have one. Is he a member on the org? I haven't seen his Max on the forums.

 

He he, a maybe real sleeper... his car look really thigh, I like the idea of wider tire in the rear, doesn't seem to rub.

Depends on the wheel offset...But if that is good you can run up to a 265 fine...I plan to run 255 when i replace my tires...If you would end up with some small rubbing, you can shave the iner fender.
