In dash CD changers are available on a number of cars the price of a Maxima, sometimes as standard equipment. Even some Nissan products, example Pathfinder. Why not in the Maxima?

In Dash CD

It's not in the 2000 or 2001 because there is not enough room to put it there without redesigning the interior space of the Maxima. It will be in the next redesign of the Maxima.
