Injen CAI questions

Hey guys/gals...

I hear some of you talking about by-pass-valves. Will I need one of these? Will water get into my CAI? BTW- I live in MD.

Thanks.

I dun have an injen.....but I would get one just in case and those are about 30 dollars apiece.

the location of injen filter is right behind the radiator...close to where we used to locate the OSCAI opening. I didnt have any problem with OSCAI and I didnt get any water in there during the raining season in CA.

I have an Injen and I put the bypass valve on. I don't know if its worth it or not, but it makes me feel a lot safer about driving in rain.

I was worried at first when I got my INJEN and water getting into the engine, but we just had three days of hard flooding rain and each time I checked the filter it was dry. It does sit up kinda high and would have to be some deep water to get sucked in.
