Missing RSB???

I was looking thru the paperwork for my Max this morning, when I came across the ORIGINAL Sticker that was in the window upon delivery.

I noticed that listed among standard features was a line that read:

Front & Rear Stabilizer Bars

Am I missing something, or did we get screwed??

I know that alot of people use the terms SWAY bar and STABILIZER bar, interchangeably - so this may account for the fact that THERE is NO REAR STABILIZER/SWAY bar on these cars.
Perhaps Nissan (in all it's infinite wisdom, and spin-doctory) decided to call the prerequisite bits of suspension parts that bolt our lovely slab of torsion beam to the frame - "the rear stabilizer bar".

I don't get it.

I also just noticed that FreshAlloy's long-term 2k2 Max, denoted that SE 6spds come WITH the Drilled AE pedals.
Is this true??

Mine were missing upon delivery if so.
Am I complaining too much today??

Somebody put my mind at ease here......

LOL...this has nothing to do with your post, but when I saw the subject line, I just got this image in my head of someone having installed a RSB on their car and then one day they take a look on there car and it's not there anymore

Sorry,

John

oops...

---nah, that's ok -- LOL over here at that.....because I KNEW somebody would think that after I posted!

Tried to make the subject more catchy, but I just couldn't do it.

I think I'm highly guilty of post-whoring tonite, waiting for a response on this -- I'm just curious.

Sorry to keep off-topic, but that almost happened to me when I put the short bolts on the bottom side of the Stillen RSB. I drove over a speedbump and heard a rattle, checked the bar, one of the brackets was hanging by a spacer, one of the nuts came undone from the short bolt and the bolt fell off! Luckily I found out and fixed it before the whole bar fell off on the freeway or something .

i have my window sticker in my car. im 99% sure it doesnt have that listed on there. ill check later though.

where did you get the car? maybe that dealer is one of the cool ones that likes to

call the dealer and ask what its all about.

i figured this post was going to be a story about you going to the dealer for some work with an RSB on and getting your car back without your RSB.

You do have front sway bar on Maxima. Now the rear sway bar, Nissan calls the rear Multi-Link beam. It acts as a sway bar, and if you look under the multi-link beam you will see a bar going across.

Drilled pedals come with Maxima that has HLSD.

Look under the rear beam (it's hollow underneath) and you'll see a MASSIVE bar running through the middle. This bar is welded to the trailing arms which are then bolted to the frame. This is your rear sway bar.
