Did I get a good deal on this FSTB?

It is the one from Directcarparts. I have read the how to sections and they seem very informative. Any fitment problems that I should be aware of? Here is the link. I think it should be $24 total. I hope I notice an improvement.

Thanks for any information.

Thanks for the info. I hope it fits good. I figure that for $24 I can't go wrong. I love your leather seats. You have one nice ride! I need to get that injen intake. It looks so sweet under the hood.

Re: Did I get a good deal on this FSTB?

This is the FSTB that I got from DirectCarParts recently. It is the generic one that RaceSonic, BOMZ, and Courtesy seem to use as well. It fits 2000 and 2001 Maximas fine. But there is an issue with 2002+ Maximas because of the manifold which makes for clearance issues.

Some people say they can feel a performance difference with the bar on and some say they can't really. After installing mine, I'm not really sure myself, but I think it's better than before. It could be one of those things where I want to believe it's better and therefore I've convinced myself it's better. But anyway, it's a relatively cheap mod, so I'm not going to complain. All I can say is, once I put the bar on and after getting new tires, going into corners at a higher speed is more fun than ever.

Good luck with the install. Enjoy. Peace.

I got one from them a few weeks ago. Was the BOMZ brand...paid $34 plus shipping. The one in your link didn't say 'BOMZ', but it looks similar. I had no fitment problems. I have a 2K2 SE. Clears the manifold with room to spare, and doesn't pinch the windshield washer line..in fact it doesn't even touch the hood liner. I'm very happy with it. I notice a small improvement. Hope you have the same results!!

That is great to know. I am a little confused to which brand it is now. I received a UPS confirmation stating that my FSTB was being shipped from BOMZ racing. I hope it is the exact one you got since you have no fitment issues.

Let me know how it works out. Kinda strange that the same brand of FSTB is fine on some and causes problems on others.
