The Maxima with the 6 speed and HDSL has the same shift **** (less the GT-R emblem) and pedals as the GT-R V spec. When I drive my car, I can feel the soul of the Skyline flowing thru the car.
Anyone else?

Now if I can only shoehorn the RB26DETT into the engine ......

sorry to bust your bubble..but your ALL wrong...the skyline GTR shifter is titanium down the middle not plastic...and has GTR etched in...along with the shift pattern cnc'd into it..filled with black paint..kinda like this one..

and look its inna maxima....hmm..except it dosent quite fit..apparently the GTR shifter is alot fatter than ours..by about 2mm all the way around... But but..i dont have drilled pedals..yet..so i guess im not quite feeling the skyline GTR thing..

I don't feel any of that soul. Maybe if I had TTs, AWD, big 'ol Brembos, racing seats, lower center of gravity, and a badass bodykit, then I would feel it. Till then, the only soul I feel is the James Brown in my CD player.

Although FWD and our VQ35DE engine is nothing similar to our HEAD OF THE HOUSE "GTR" I am sure we share some of that good blood and FAMILY TRAITS.

Well, I guess we could say "soul of the next GT-R" since we will at least share an engine. Oh yeah, and the muffler is from GT-R design too.

Now if we drive G35C's, then we could mummble about GT-R soul...
