I bought a couple of oil filters when I bought my 02 Max - part no. 15208-00006. The box list the 3.5 as an application.

I just received my Courtesy Nissan Order but these filters are part no. 15208-65F00. The box does not show the 3.5. It does show the 2.0. This filter is also smaller.


Did I receive the wrong filters ?

The 15208-65F00 will fit as well.

 

There seems to be a few filters the dealers are using for the 3.5 liter Maxima. My dealer installed oil filter # 15208-9E000.
