hi- THis summer some one totaled my accord and so I went to the Nissan dealership and picked up a 96gxe, 5sp. My dad liked it so much he got rid of his 96grandcherokee and bought a brand new 5gen a few months later. Its a loaded 00' light gray SE. ITs so fun to drive. I might pick it up from him in 2years but its and auto so im not sure. Its just kind of fun when i come home on break to have 2 maxes to choose from when i go out.

 

Yes, it is cool being a two Max family. Between my 5 Speed 2K and my wifes 96 SE auto, you never know which car I'll be in!

 

I would love to be a 2 Max family. My wife wants to get a 4 cylinder Camry next. Yuck!

I drive my moms 4cly Camry when her car is in the way of my car on the drive way. It really isn't bad. We have two Maxima's in our family. 90 and 2k ...Also, 5 of my cousins have them. 1993 gxe, 1988gxe, 1996 se, 1994 gxe, 1997 gle. Also, 2 of my Uncles have them: 2kse and 1999 SE-L.

 

Had an ol' white 91 se, along with my 01 white gle. that didnt last long though, totaled the 91 about a year ago. sad story really, a beauty. oh well, my wife is getting rid of her crappy plymouth van and she looking at getting another 5th gen, a black se, vroom vroom.

Wow..that's cool! We were about to buy a 2001 Maxima SE and have 3, but we bought something else. We'll be selling the 84 Max soon, so we'll be down to 1 .
