2k2 Maxima 6 speed

I have a question: Why do so many Maxima 6 speed owners have Stillen after market parts ? Is it because of some design problems ? Or people do it just to improve performance ? My car hesitate a lot and I would like to know what I can do to eliminate that. (Nissan said it is normal). By the way, are there a lot of people with 6 speed have hesitation problem (when you accelerate, some times the car feels like down shifting/fuel cutoff kind of feeling ) ?

Thanks

aftermarket parts

How do you say that most of us use Stillen aftermarket parts? I don't have any Stillen parts. I'm not saying Stillen isn't anygood but I seriously question your statement. Also until recently, Stillen didn't have any parts available for the 02/03 models.

The hesitation problem is still debate so we'll see.

Put an intake like the Frankencar or Berk on your car and it will help minimize the hesitation. Search for either of those names and you'll get lots of info.

Do a little searching on the hesitation issue. I think it came down to a heat sink problem at low RPMs. Intake gets pretty warm, and thus the lag at slow speeds. Once the speeds get up, then the cooler air is forced into the engine bay, thus more power. Do a little research dude!
