i have a 2k2 with about 6000 miles on it. At time I think I hear some sort of engine noise when ever so slightly stepping on the gas. This morning I confirmed it by driving slowly next to a wall w/ my windows opened. I don't know if it's the timing chair or what? It's like a very mild version of what old, piece of sh$t cars sound like. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do about it, b/c I know nissan will tell me that they cannot duplicate to problem (as usual)?

 

Timing chain rattle is a common problem, do a search here.
