apexi rsm

Anyone install one yet? I'd like some help finding what wires to splice, or at least how to safely find out for myself. Apex is useless in telling me what to do.

Thanks for the diagram. I'm actually installing it in my 350Z, and I assumed the pins would be the same on the two models. I guess I will know when I find the ecu and look at the connector.

I'll test the wires, what wire should I use as the ground when testing? I know I hae to use a ground that is in the ecu connector, APEX told me that. Should I use one of those marked "G" in the diagram? I notice that warning there from nissan about not using a certain wire for ground..

Installed it like 3 weeks ago.. Everything works out great. Once you know what wires to tap into it's a pretty easy process. Lemme know if you need the config settings or whatever...

Bye bye ECU...

Even if the ECU looks the same, the pins might not be the same as on the Max.

I've seen many people reference this item, but I've never found a good explanation as to what it does, or why I'd need or even want one. Can you give a brief explanation, please. Thanks.

Look at what I found by looking at A'pexi's site: http://www.apexi-usa.com/meters_revspeedmeter.asp

I think I'm going to get me one of these!

So, other than the ooooh, this is cool factor....why? Is it some kind of engine management device or something?

No, not all of it, but now, yes.

So it's like a fancy GTech? device that monitors all kinds of neat stuff. I thought it may have been an engine management controller, which is why I wondered why. I guess it is kinda neat with the timer features, and playback modes. Cool.
