New 2003 SE owner!

Hey Guys,
Been checking out your forums for a while now and thought I would register and join the crowd now that we have taken delivery of our new 2003 Maxima SE!

We ended up getting the A4,(we being my fiance' and I) since she will be the primary driver. Went with the titanium edition, frost leather interior, bose, etc. I went ahead an clayed and Zaino'd it this morning, tell me what you guys think...

http://www.clanradium.com/cmurder/maxima/

My initial impressions are very good, the car is very smooth...Nice torque for a V6. I would venture to say it would probably run what, high 14's, low 15's? What mods would be your first?

I also own a 2002 Pontiac TA, with a few mods that puts down about 330 to the rear wheels! Pic if anyone is interested..Notice the zaino shine!

Congrets on your new SE. The 03 Maxima with A/T will run the quarter in the low 15 or high 14 from reading a lot of threads in the Forums.

The mods that I want to do first will be intake and rear sway bar.
Enjoy your new ride.

Nice rides and nice clean shines on both of them! Black is a hard color to maintain, but you seem to have no problem with that. Welcome to the ORG!

Yah, my bro is one of the founding members... Do you play?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.... If you guys are not currently using Zaino, I highly recommend it. The initial prep work takes a little time, but after that its much easier to use than any other polish.

The car feels pretty strong, I'm sure after a few thousand miles it will "loosen" up a bit. I'll look into the intakes and sway bars..
I know on my TA a new intake and ram air kit really woke it up and judging by the looks of the intake system on the max there is definitely some potential to get more "flow" if you will...

I like Unreal Tourney, but I always preferred Half-Life Team Fortress Classic.

Nice rides! Welcome to the board!

My Maxima is sterling mist but I sure like the black.

Just don't put it up against that Trans Am!

Take a look at my black Camaro in my signature. It made 359 hp/370 pounds torque(converter locked) a couple weeks ago. 336/393 unlocked.

Hearty welcome also, as the previous owner of a 00/SE Black Max you’ve just taken on a huge detailing burden, although with constant attention, it’s one of the nicest looking colors out there.

I definitely agree with Z71Chad. I first used Zaino when I picked my black Max and it works great. The initial process is a little time consuming but after that it's not bad, and it lasts longer than other waxes.
I learned a lot about Zaino from www.autopia-carcare.com

This is the first time I've noticed the rear light cluster. I didn't know they even changed it and put in that horizontal bar between the upper and lower portions of the lights!! Looks strange but good.
