I bought a 2003 Nissan Maxima SE from Future Nissan in Roseville, CA. I asked them if I would lose power because of CA emissions, and they told me that all Nissan Maxima's have the same emissions. Could someone explain? Are all '03 Maxima's the same for emissions, regardless of CA emissions?

 

after 2000, all maxima are cali spec. i believe there might have been some earlier years that were cali spec but i believe intended for california. the major difference being 4 oxygen sensors as opposed to 2. anyways, congrats on the purchase. i hope you enjoy the car and the info that is here.
