Anyone have the KYB GR2 s?

If anyone has ordered them and has them on their car, can you let us know how the ride is, opinions or thoughts? Thanks...

I have the GR2s on my Max (2001 SE) along with a set of H&Rs. They ride quite well and they seem to handle the higher spring rates with ease. A friend of mine bought GR2s at the same time and put them on his Max (also a 2001 SE). He is running the stock springs with the new shocks and struts. The GR2s got rid of alot of the "highway float" and the wallowing his car exibited prior to the install. When he goes over bumps the car bounces once and that's it. I recommend them. I wasn't sure if you were running aftermarket or stock springs so hopefully this helps out a bit. L8r.

Does anybody have GR2's and eibachs. Ive searched but found nothing. Do the GR2's bring down the back end like the blues do? I have eibach's with stock struts. I liked it alot but 80k and time for new struts. I would like to know how the ride is with this set up. If any body can help I would greatly apreciate it. Thanks

Yes, for the fronts.

Adventon has the Tokicos for $317.08+shipping.

What prices have you found for the GR2s?

I just got some maxspeed springs and I am thinking about waiting till I have money for all four struts. My question for all how have the KYB GR-2s is do you have them for front and rear. I curious since we have struts and the GR-2s are shocks will the GR-2s fit in place of the front and rear stcok struts. If I remember correctly I think I read a thread that mentioned that the GR-2s will fit with some minor modifications. If anyone can answer my question I would really appreciate it. Thanks. I will do a search in the meantime.

AGXs come modified from cattman or custommaxima, no work needed. More pricey, but damn are they exquisite.... or so I hear

Wow that was a quick response. Glad to hear I won't need to modify. I am going to look for tech data on both the tokicos and GR-2s. I was thinking of getting tokicos for the front and KYBs for the rear. I didn't know that there were Gr-2s for the front. I think I will get all four GR-2s. Opinions welcomed. Thanks guys for the quick responses. Back to more searching...

Tirerack.com has them for $95.00 fronts, $59.00 rears. Not too bad-

Do you need dust boots or anything else if you get the GR2s? The tirerack price is pretty good, I like the idea of something that lasts longer than the AGXs

Are the GR2's adjustable? How about the Tok Blues? If so, how many settings? Thanks!

Ride and control

How was the ride improved or not with the GR2 and maxspeeds set-up.
I am looking into a combo that will not be much rougher than stock but improve composure and control; not to mention lessen wallowing on the highway due to wind and bumps.

Thanxs!

Kevin

nevermind

Oops, my questions have been answered before.
Well, I guess I could use a little more info on impressions on the setup.

Thanks,

Kevin

GR2's w/Eibachs

I have GR2's with Eibachs. The ride is very controlled. There is no floating and no realy loss of control at higher speeds if/when you hit a bump. Sometimes it can feel a bit firm (rough), but overall it rides well and I am very satisfied.

I think I paid about $180 for my GR2's. It was a while ago and I paid cash so I don't remember too well.
