Motorplace.com - GREAT place to find parts (i.e.MAF)

Dave B hooked me up with this site when we couldn't find a replacement MAF. If you have a part number (you have to have it) for any car/make you can search their database to see if any participating dealers have it in stock.

The MAF is backordered through Nissan but we were able to locate 6 of them on the east coast - and I was able to get it overnighted to me.

www.motorplace.com then click on parts voice or just go to
www.partsvoice.com

By the way, thanks again to Dave at Town North Nissan for all of his help.

TSB for MAF sensor

I just order the MAF sensor though Dave B. and had a friend install it on my Maxima 2000. I also need to get the ECM flashed through the dealership per TSB NTB01-036/ITB01-029.

Has anyone been successful in getting their ECM flashed through a dealer free of cost because of the TSB. When I contacted the dealer they said they would charge for 1 1/2 hours of labour.

Thanks!!

you dont have to get it reflashed. i never did, i know many others never did. according to nissan u should have it reflashed anytime u change or do anything to ur car, like put on a spare or turn on the ignition.

what u could do is disconnect the battery, that will reset the computer and should be just fine.
