What kind of oil filters does Midas use?

Just had my oil changed...couldnt pass up a change for 14 bucks...anyways..

Any ideas? suppose they may be differnt at every location

I think it said Evergard or something like that on it.

How about brand of oil...pennzoil? Valvoline?

Maybe too broad a question...just wondering

I just checked my oil and they overfilled it as usual

Guess that teaches me to use a 14 dollar oil change from a bunch of guys standing around smoking butts. Looked like a prison yard gang.

Anyways my oil level is right below the first bend in the dipstick...about how much is that overfilled? Also the oil that they put in has sort of a darker tinge to it than I am used to seeing with new oil....then again I went 10k between changes with Mobil 1......could this be contributing to the darker color of the new oil when I check it?

Probably just gonna run 1k or so between changes this time and have the dealer do my next change or a place that doesn't look like I interrupted a drug deal!
