i went to a shop to install my muffler today and they said they couldnt do it because the piping was in the center of the muffler not to the side like the stock muffler is. is this tru or a bunch of bull. i was gonna install a a4 hks muffler i bought off my friend.

 

it may be a fitment issue. if the stock muffler has the inlet on the side, which i thought it was centered but could be wrong and the aftermarket is centered then it would mount the muffler either left or right of where its supposed to hang. also the hangers might be able to support it if its not where the stock muffler mounts.
