Bing Bong.... springs
Bing Bong.... springs
My car is currently on ground controls, but for the past couple months, everytime i turn my wheel, i would get a lot of sounds coming from my front right tire springs. When i say sounds, i mean the bing and bongs. They are loud. My passengers are scared to ride with me. Does anyone know why? I was told that my springs are actually turning as i turn my wheel so it is scrapping and making the noises. How can i stop this? I tried WD40 and other lubs but they only work for a short time. After i get a car wash, it goes right back to the bings and bongs.
buy new strut bearings which are plastic washer looking things that are on top of the ground control top hat or that silver piece above the springs. Its becasue when you dont seat the strut bearings right when you lower your car, the strut bearing will bind and will not allow the spring to rotate while you turn so that explains the spring twisting, cause a creeking noise. dont forget to lube the strut bearings too.
