FSTB on 2002

I installed a Bomz Racing front strut bar on my 2002 SE yesterday with only a couple minor glitches.

First because of a small bracket welded to the strut tower on the drivers side I had to use my dremil and cut 1/8th inch sliver of the bracket so the FSTB bracket would fit flush.

Second because there is only about 1.5 inches of clearance between the engine and the FSTB you cannot connect both sides and then turn the bar to tighten it up. SO you have to turn it with one side disconnected and get it as tight as you can before you connect it. Once connected you can turn it about a 1/2 turn to snug it up.

The first thing I noticed after installing it and taking a run on the highway was that my ride is a little rougher. Now any bump in the road transfers to both wheels so you feel the road more.

But it does feel better in a hard corner.

Now I can't wait for my MaxSpeed springs and my DTM exhaust.

Rougher?? Wow...that seems very odd, if

anything it would be smoother because you should be getting less chassis flex and because of that, more movement (hence absorbtion) in the suspension!

But it stiffins the chassis so you feel more.

Just my thoughts.
