Does the Stillen Short Shifter work well enough to spend $300? Is there better ones?

At the moment it seems to be the only choice. The price is truly ridiculous, should be about $100. Stillen is like that - especially when they can get away with it. I'll wait - stock isn't $300 worth of bad.

I got mine for less than a hundred in a group buy here a while ago. The Manufacturer is SMC and the shifter is better than the Stillen's becuase it is fully adjustable, unlike Stillen's. The install might a littlle harder though.
