Funny encounter with an Accord and a tricked out Suburban

I thought this was rather funny given the coincidence in which it happened.

I happened to be at a stoplight with the Accord (LX Sedan) beside me. I really didn't think about it till the ff happened.

It's been raining pretty bad these days and as we all know the Potenza's don't give you squat as far as traction goes. I hit the gas a little bit too enthusiastically and begun to spun the wheels. I let go to get back some traction.

Well, apparently the Accord driver probably thought i was trying to race and all i hear next is WOT on his side.

Not to be outdone I finally opened up the Max after weeks of hardly any WOT'ing. That put an end to that "race" pretty fast

On another note, on my way home this lowered Suburban w/ 17" chromies and wheel spacers was instigating a race with me. I was cruising at the speed limit while he was definitely slower since i almost passed him. Just as i would he'd go WOT on me then slow down a car length ahead and kept repeating it a couple more times. (btw, i kept hearing something like a pssshhhh sound everytime he did this, is that a turbo or Nitrous? I first thought it was Nitrous but i'm not very sure)

I got tired of that and finally gave the Max another leg stretching. As always, the VQ didn't let me down

Most likely turbo if anything on the truck unless he's into wasting his nitrous. Nice kill on the honda!

As for the burb, sounds like a powerdyne or vortec aftermarket SC to me. Very readily available in just about any magazine. A little pricey, but if he can afford the chromies, then he can afford the SC.
