question about my 2002 se

hey everyone, i purchased a 2002 se a few months back. last month i was rear-ended and had to have pretty extensive work done on the car. the other night i had guests in the back seat and they complained about lack of head room. i had sat in the back seat a few times before and never really noticed any problem. i sat in the back seat today and my head was against the roof! it was very awkward. i am 5'11 which i know is a decent height but i really dont think that the head room was like this before. does anyone think that when the mechanic put the back-seat back in/replaced the back end of the car, this made a difference?

I have the same problem. I don't think it was the body shops fault. The headroom in the back is just a tad too low for us 5'11'ers.

Head room in the back seat is a problem. I'm 6'2 and I can't even get back there without my head touching the ceiling. Funny how I have no problem fitting in the back seat of a compact but I do in the Maxima. Just be glad you don't have to sit back there.
