Do you have any pictures?I can't believe that's normal, but maybe it is.

Not flaming, but given that I'm not sure that your comparison dyno is of much value.
If anything, you should just use the numbers above which would show a 23 hp gain and a 1 hp TQ gain.
From what I've seen, ypipes give limited TQ gain but decent HP gain. So, 1 ftlb of tq is consistent. However, I would be really surprised if you got 23hp.
But it you can really show that hp gain, I might go to the Budget!

the graph shows the biggest increases after the VI opens; however, 3rd gear right now is definitely stronger in terms of TQ than what the graph indicates.
i'll be getting the Budget B-pipe sometime soon and will have a dyno of that too (this time one in 2nd gear and one in 3rd gear)

From my experience, having an aftermarket straight-through muffler (with stock b-pipe) in series with a y-pipe will not be quiet. However, it is not obnoxiously loud either. Replace that stock b with a larger diameter pipe along with the above configuration and it gets very loud. Right now I have the y + 2.5" mandrel bent b with a resonator + stock muffler and it is perfect.

Help me out.
I have a 2KSE and was going to add a Y pipe and B pipe with a resonator. I am concerned that there will be too much of a noise increase. What is your experience with your set up? My wife and kids will notice if there is too much of a difference and I want to keep any noise increase to a minimum as I often cruise at 65-80 mph.
What percent increase in noise inside the car, over stock, is there at idle?
At WOT?
At 70 MPH?
Or, when on the tach does the noise become more noticeable?
Thanks,
Jack

startup - a little growl
Idle - quiet
WOT - hard to tell, my intake roars above the exhaust sound.
70 mph - quiet (like stock)
Let me put it this way, if you don't have an intake, they really won't know the difference. In fact, I would say that when you drive with the windows up and the a/c on it is identical to stock.
Really, I am pleased with this setup. As long as you keep your stock muffler, you should be fine.
Now, remember that this stuff is very subjective so the terms "quiet" and "growl" are based on my tolerance levels. (my disclaimer)

"Hi my manufacturing department is on holidays until Thurs. I will forward your e-mail and they will respond on Friday

Budget Exhaust"
so I guess we'll have to wait a couple days. If a GD is on, lemme know cuz I'm in.

Did you connect the B-pipe to the STOCK rear section(pipe/flange over axle) or did you weld it straight to the muffler? If straight to the muffler, did you "open up" the hole entering the muffler?

one reason you can use pertaining to setting up a GD is that the price we pay ($250CAN) when we go into Budget includes installation so... just an idea

That was me. He made one specifically for my 2000 Fed Spec.
Just make sure you tell him exactly what you need. He made two when I was there on site so he could make others without the need to have another 2000 Fed Spec. If he's still confused, tell him you need the same one as the guy with the Black Maxima who needed a custom pipe built and he made 2 of them. Also tell him I was the guy with the CAI (he was interested to see the Place Racing one because Jeff was thinking of making his own using the same design as Place Racing instead of the Injen design). Good luck!
By the way, Jody knows about maxima.org and already has a "special" with us members. So the 160 US shipped is already discounted for org members. Now that discount is for individuals. You might be able to get a lower price with 10+ people. (Just giving you guys the context of the price).
Good luck!

Take a look at my stock plot.

I'm guessing you have an auto - I have a 5 spd - but still those seem to be very low.
