Hey guys at the CT meet last Sunday I had a few races, hehe.. Well the first race was against a auto 2000-2001 maxima, it was equipped with a Stillen SC, Y-pipe and possibly some more exhaust work. The muffler was stock. Well on the first race we went from about 0-100 MPH. I pulled away off the line and walked away the whole race, at the end I finished a good 4-5 cars ahead. 2nd race was from a 20 MPH roll.. I jumped away hard emmediatly and jsut pulled hard all hte way up to 120 MPH. 3rd race was about the same as the 1st.


Then I talked MPC(matt) into a race, it took some work but he finaly gave in, haha. He has a 2002 6spd with a 125 shot and some other NA mods. Well to make a long story short he had awful time getting traction.. So IU jsut pulled right away and continued to do so up to 90 MPH. At that point i was about 3-4 cars a head and the race stopped.


All the races where video taped by 2 cameras, Steve(frankencar Steve) taped from inside my car. And another fella there in a white 4th gen taped from behind us and also off on the side of the road. I forgot your org name guys, sorry! Try to get these vids up sooon guys, hehe. I know me and a lot of others are intching to see them!

Video #2 is on a 20 MPH roll, we counted off with 3 beeps and we took off.

In video # 2 I was going 120 MPH when steve looked at my speedo, after that I jamned on the brakes and he went right into my dash, he sat there a for quite a while and yelled nissan brakes over and over!

And also in Video #5 thats a new 5spd VR6 Golf, it started out right behind me and was racing too.

Ya no sound dude. The SC pulley is stock. Theres another set of videos from these races, that camera looked like real high quality, Hopefully he will upload the vids, he said he'd try to.

No I was not really racing just tagging along. I was about to turn the the ESP contol off and drop the clutch at 2800 but my girlfreind said "Don't even think about it, theres a cop up ahead and you have only 900 miles on the car" I was behind the kid with the 125 shot and he did have a hard time getting off the line. ethan got that as a advantage. I will race my little toy box next time

The SC guy needs a smaller pulley. Stock pulley SC auto is only a mid 14 car.

I was wondering why other 2k2's running under similar setups are not as "fast" as emax's car? I haven't heard of any 2k2 breaking 14's while NA, is it all driver?

If it was that GTI VR6 5spd. You would have totally destroyed it as well. But lucky for him "he really wasn't racing".

emax has the one and only 2k2 ypipe....so that helps a bit. otherwise, I think he emptied the trunk and removed the back seat for that 13 second run.

there is another NA 4th gen got a high 13.

 

Again its the new 6 speed VR6 with about 201hp. I could not really race because I was not aware of it happening and I had traction control on. I know my VW should not be beat a new 6 speed max. I was even suprised that the kid with the 125 shot did not pull alot further away figuring that I should be running mid to high 14s(estimated because the new VR6s have not been tested broken in yet). I will race now with 1400 mile on the OD Yeah Ethan has a lot of power for N/A. I am not one of those people that think that there car can not lose!

 

he must have crazy skills cause that auto SC'ed max had no chance.. emax just kept pulling and pulling. I now know that i'd rather spend $3k plus on the down payment for a 2k2 instead of a SC'ed max when my lease ends

Nope as of tonight I did a 13.96 NA with my full interior, spare, 1/2 tank of gas and on my 18's! So what is under my hood? I got skillz..

 

There was no smokes in my car.. I quit 85 days ago and Steve does not smoke.
