Snow? What is snow? Oh yea, I remember it snowed here about 10 years ago. (Houston)

i think i remember that day. the cowboys played the dolphins in the snow and leon lett made another one of his bonehead moves that game.
Wanna know how bad it can get? I live in NH, too, and I took all the shingles off my roof yesterday because it wasn't supposed to rain, just "possible light flurries." So, of course we get an inch of snow and 1/2" of rain, all pouring in my unshingled house.
SUCK!
Anyway, how does this relate to my Max, you ask? Last night I borrowed my brother-in-law's pickup truck so I can go to the dump, and I gave him my Max for the day... he gets to drive my car in the snow before me!!!
DOUBLE-SUCK!

The max is a very good car in bad weather, esp with vicious slip differential and traction control...in addition to the abs.....all of those makes for a good ride but of course, u could be driving with 27848 wheels but if u drive on ice, u goin to slip....
i think the max is one of the best car i've driven when bad weather is a factor. now, as someone said, take it in a big wide open parken lot...MUAHAHAHAHA
just a few advice, make sure if u have vlsd, tcs and abs...TURN IT ON....well, u don't have a choice with vlsd and ab but tcs u do(AUTO ONLY).....also, make sure ur tires are inflated correctly and drive safely...
MUST DRIVE IN PARKEN LOT!!!!!

Nice
on stock tires? You'll be dead before getting out of your driveway..
on anything else, not too bad.. just remember its a heavier car than what you may be used to. Not nimble, but not full of surprises either.

Not too good. And those stock Bridgestones suck. Sorry.
Last winter I was driving on the stockers and was slipping and sliding everywhere
One time on my way home from work I noticed that I was the slowest car on the highway, seriously! That's an indication that the stock tires suck *****.
If you have the cash, swap them out. The Max on different tires runs fine in the snow.

helpful hint:
if you're ever stuck in inches of snow and can't seem to move either forwards or backwards........simply turn off the
traction contol system and try again.
In some situations, the TCS is completely useless and progress
is easier without it.

I go to school in upstate New York and Im from NYC. Let me tell you the maxima will handle great in straight roads. It is a FF afterall and the few advantages of a FF is better control in snow. The Max absolutely is the worst car ever for slush and ice with the potenzas. THEY suck.
I have driven in blizzards and in 1 foot of snow on the ground in the curvy roads of upstate NY. Its simple. Drive slow. I checked my underbody and did not see anything wrong or scatches. The car is heavy enough to stick to ground pretty well just by gravity. my friend has a civic si and now that is a deathtrap.
