Headlight timer help guys????

IS THEIR ANY WAY TO ADJUST THE TIMER ON THE HEADLIGHTS ON MY 2K2 MAXIMA. WHEN YOU SHUT THE CAR OFF WITH THE LIGHTS IN AUTO MODE THEY STAY ON FOREVER HELP IF YOU CAN THANKS

I THINK THE DEALER HAS THE OPTION TO CHANGE THAT WITH THE COMPUTER! THERE IS A THREAD ABOUT THE ALTIMA HAVING THE OPTION TO CHANGE SOME OF THESE SETTINGS.

Yes, there's a timer built into the same handle, it's call off Sorry, I couldn't resist. I keep checking to make sure they turn off. It sure does take a long time.

That is specific to the Altima.

Take it to a dealer

Take it to your local dealer and ask them to change the timing. I did this adjustment only after I copyied the "13 tweaks you should know about" found in FAQ section. 1st time dealer had no clue this could be changed then 2nd time brought in this copy from the org and dealer attached the pod to the car called me over and asked what I wanted changed as far as timing goes for the lights. I also hit him up to advance timing on the car.
