License plate frame
License plate frame
I'm trying to get a nice license plate frame, but none of those on the market look good.
Do you guys have any good one or suggestion?
Maybe we can have a forum frame just like what we have in stickers?
Thanks!!

They're illegal.
If the frame covers any of the information present on the plate then it's illegal....the this you learn from a-hole Alabama state troopers.

I don't think cops would pull you over for that or even care about that. I think they would actually be happy since they don't have to read "The Garden State" here. At least we aren't Wisconsin the "Dairy State"

You may find an authentic 'cheesehead' hat in your mail and you will want to wear it everywhere...(old Jedi mind trick)
Well, I went with the generic "Proud to be Irish" frame. I wanted to get the corny dealer one off... so I bought a $5 frame to take it's place until I found one I liked... hehe.
It does the job for now, without it, it looks too plain back there, and I want everyone to have something to look at when they're behind me

i ripped my dealer ones off before that first day was even over. i was back in a week to have them take their sticker off my trunk (it was peeling anyway, a good excuse). they already got my money, no free advertising from me!
if people want something to read, they can read my plate (yes, the plate in my sig is the real one). plus, how often are they gonna get a chance to be that close to my rear end? they'll be lucky if they get to read anything...

Once upon a time . . .
there was some discussion about Maxima.org producing a license plate frame. For reasons which Jamie never disclosed, he not only refused to produce them, he actually became rather terse in his responses concerning them. Perhaps with new leadership at the helm, we can reopen the subject anew.
So . . . like . . . watcha think, Kevin (no g!) ???

I hear what you're saying about them not being too close to read, but you never know... they could be looking at me while I pass them!

I live in Denver CO. The cops around here seem to be cool at least to me. I have 20% tint all the way around no front liscens plate. I have never gotten harrased by a cop about anything on my car. We have alot of ricers mabey they prey on them more. I think they feel sorry for us modders because at 5280ft elevation we loose alot of horsepower.
. Now that I said this I will probably get a ticket. I am driving to Rochester NY for Xmas I better watch out.

no front plate on my car either
lucky for me im soo close to PA (dont need a front plate) that having no front plate doesnt stick out like a sore thumb. and i dont understand why people who have no front plate put the actual plate on their dash. cop sees that easier and then knows your suppose to have a front plate.
anyway i am also looking for a frame for the back. i was thinking of maybe a Nismo one or maybe Stillen, and if Maxima.org makes one then most likely that.
