Orage reflector+blue spray= white signal light??

i was just wondering...people paint the tail light in red to make the red signals. how about the front?? i dont want to kill my headlight after opening them, so i am thinking...is it possible to get one of the vans blue tail light spray and spray behind the orange reflector to make the white signals. is it gonna work though??

thanks

i didn't know orange and blue made white...if that were true, then I think people would be doing that to the tails to get rid of the orange.

If this is true, i am defenitely doing it to the tails!

Someone confirm this.

With lights, if you mix all the primary colors, you get white. Physics 101 at its best

No, it won't work. In this case, the color of the signal is created by the absorption and transmission of the "white" light created behind it. If you have an orange filter in from of a white light, the light becomes orange. Everything else is lost. Nothing can make it white again. Adding any other color to the orange will only act to filter the orange, and make the light even dimmer. Once you filter white light, you can't go back.

that only works with light. when you're painting, the color are opaque/ pigment, so if you mix all the primary colors you're only gonna get black.
