60ft is a traction thing.

CAI wont offset a low stall TCer. You COULD still get amazing 60ft times with our stock TCer, but not without something to really boost up low end torque, a la Nitrous or Boost.

Lemme see now . . .

The performance advantage goes to the CAI when my car is standing still. The performance advantage toes to the WAI when my car is moving. So what's more important . . . higher performance when my car is standing still or higher performance when my car is moving ???

Mmmmm . . . uhhhhh . . . mmmmm . . .

SOLUTION! Ok - when standing still, the WAI is sucking warm air - what if... using a device like the Tornado, or any simple 12v fan, installed inside a tube that sucks from the fender, was always running and blew cool (ambient) air onto the filter??? wouldn't this resolve the 'standing still', or 'low speeds' issue of the WAI getting warmer air? I'm gonna try it for *****. Not that I expect any gains, but the satisfaction that I've eliminated all points that argue the results I've come up with.

If you're already moving there's enough airflow that you don't need to worry about it.

If you're stopped, just give the throttle a few firm blips to clear out all the hot air built up under the hood just before you launch. This will ensure you've got cooler fresh air waiting to start off with.

I really don't think even that is going to make any measureable difference though.
