Loose vacuum hose
Loose vacuum hose
I was checking around my engine bay for the HGS install and I found this:

I also noticed that my Greddy boost gauge shows constant 200 mmHg vacuum unless I'm boosting. Any ideas where this hose goes (notice the big hose bracket connected to it, maybe that'll give a clue).
I don't think I disconnected the hose, I think it's been like that. I didn't see anywhere it could connect to. I just noticed the boost gauge reading, and I usually watch it, today is the first time it's been stuck at 200 mmHg.

I have an auto too.. I have that same loose hose. It's the tube for the vent on the tranny.. Without it the pressure won't be able to release..

I was going to ask the same question. I noticed it too after I installed my intake. I have a 02 6 spd. the other end of that hose seems to be connected to some metal valve or hole... it comes off the metal valve pretty easily. I dont see why there is a need to put a hose on the metal thing.....
