Serious Maxima Withdrawal!

Sorry for the whiny post, my Maxima was pelted by 2"+ hail last week, to the tune of $5600 in damage. The car didn't even have a scratch before this, or bumper chips. It's at the body shop while my insurance company drags their feet doing nothing- Meanwhile, I'm stuck in a rental Buick Regal that has the optional "mashed potatoes" suspension- what a pig! I'm really missing the snick of the 5-speed and the howl of the VQ

Muuuuhaaaaaa

Just playing Dave. Sorry to hear that. Every time I hear rain I flinch, because it could easily turn to hail.

I think you have a point there- I think I remember putting a very small scratch behind the headlight area way back then. The funny thing is I'm the blanket/garage **** when it comes to hail. This just materialized out of nowhere at 2:00 AM

Hey Dave, good luck on the repair. I know what you mean when the insurance company drags their feet. My friend crashed his 98 max 3 weeks ago, and the insurance company still hasn't gotten him a quote for OEM parts. He has the quote for generic parts, but who knows what will happen. [whispering]I think it's time you get a demo from the dealership or rent one and write it off as business. [/whispering]hehe
