Considering that the Cattman RSB costs less then the Addco, and it is a better fit, along with better quality, I would be surprised if more people don't take advantage of the pre-order.

If you can get the Stillen RSB for $160, then by all means! Otherwise, the Addco worked for me, I paid $115 shipped.

Sorry, but Stillen isn't my first choice, and even a group buy couldn't get the price to be worth while.

The $115 Addco price from Cattman was a special that has since ended. The new Cattman RSB replaces the Addco, and is supposed to be all-around better.

I wished the Stillen RSB could be had for 160-180. I'm about to order this for $225.00 + s/h. That's the best I could do so far...

Help me here, what do you see in the Stillen that's better then the Cattman? Look at http://forums.maxima.org/showthread...threadid=162970 if you want info on the new Cattman RSB.

first of all stillens is around $225. and addco is $125. no one has installed the cattman so I can't comment on it. I paid $115 shipped for my addco and have had no problems what so ever with it. All you have to do is follow the install instructions One more thing how do you know cattmans is a better fit when they aren't even available for sale yet?

Interesting...

I (also) will now wait to see some pic's. Sounds pretty good though. Although, I'm real confident in stillen (even though the high price). My friends had a stillen RSB for years w/ not a single problem. Hopefully, the cattman will also.

Did you miss all the posts? They ARE on sale now. That's why I supplied a link, please look it up.

I was referring to Brian Cattman's quote (from that link), where he said they are a better product then the Addco's. Again, you should refer to the link for more info.

I am sure you and other's are happy with the Stillens, and Addco's, which are good products. It's just nice to see a (promised) better product come along, and for less.

Did you get Cattman's permission to post about the new RSB?

First off this thread kinda seems like an ad for Cattman...

not knocking the product or anything, but I just paid the $240 for Stillen's bar, because I read the faq on the forum's main page and this is the part that convinced me to go Stillen...

"The Addco unit can be purchased thru Cattman Performance or your local Pep Boys. It is available with rubber or urethane bushings. For the best feel and performance, get the urethane bushings. Conceptually, the two units work the same way but the difference is in the way they are mounted and the way they are adjusted. The Stillen unit might have a better turn in response than the Addco unit because the Addco unit uses bushings which must compress first, whereas the Stillen unit mounts onto the arms directly. At the limits the two should theoretically work the same. "

Also, I've seen less people complain about Stillen RSB's on the forums than the Addco bars. I guess I'm paying for the piece of mind or something.

Wasim521, I don't mean to advertise the part, but I do want to share the opportunity to buy the part at a pre-release price with all the members on the forum. I also want to get out as much info as possible about it, so others can make sound decisions with thier money. Stillen's RSB sounds great, but I like to have as much as possible for the money, which is why I will buy the Cattman RSB (which is designed better then the Addco) for the price of an Addco.

Fair enough...to each their own right? I personally prefer Stillen because I know they are very big with Nissans, and some of the parts I have/seen are pretty good quality. I guess I'm afraid of change. Then again, I know there are also those that will never spend a cent on a $tealin' product, and that's cool too. Hope those Cattman's work out, and someone please post some pics when they are in.

I have no beef with Stillen, just that their products are too expensive. Why don't you share where we can get a Stillen RSB brand new for $160? I think we'd all like to know...

How bout here

It looks like you have to buy both the FSTB and the RSB, but for under $300 for both and after taxes, I think it comes out to about $160 or so a piece?

Of course, I could be wrong depending on what they charge for tax. But I think I'm considering this package.

I don't know, that deal looks kinda shady to me...they don't refer to the FSTB as a strut bar, they call it a sway bar. I didn't know such a thing existed. Also, the pictures don't look like the Stillen RSBs. A big note is that right below on the Maxima page they offer the Stillen RSB for $229 - they couldn't possibly offer the whole package for $300.

maybe.......after looking at the 2nd one Stillen RSB that you mentioned, it says Stillen "Adj" Rear Sway Bar.....I'm taking that means adjustable?? And they don't look like the ones on the Stillen site.

Taking a second look at those bars in the picture...one of them kind of looks like a black version of Addco's bar, maybe a few subtle differences, but not much. Someone should e-mail these guys and let them know they have know clue what they are selling.

That package is the front and rear anti-sway bar set. Nearly all RWD cars come with both front and rear anti-sway bars like these. It really surprised me to see that my '03 didn't have one at all, front or back. They are almost a basic feature, like A/C and a heater, on any other car.
