Best Auto Mag?

I was just wondering what you guys on the org. subscribe to. Right now I get MotorTrend, which is a pretty good mag, but I've heard Nissan and Infiniti have them in their back pocket and BMWs' got Car and Driver in theirs. Is there any other decent mags worth reading while "dropping the kids off at the pool"?

I get Automobile, Motortrend, Car and Driver, Road and Track, Autoweek, and Popular Mechanics (has some auto stuff). I personally prefer Car and Driver and Road & Track, even though they tend to spit on Nissans and Infinitis. Their comparison tests are in depth, and they actually devulge which car they prefer and why. None of that "All the cars are great, it all depends on what you prefer!" crap.

I keep all my mags on a bookshelf in my bedroom (my wife loves that ). I've been collecting them for about 10 years. I enjoy going back to some of the old mags and reading abouth the spy-shots and rumor mills and comparing them to reality.

Autoweek is my mag of choice. Because it comes every week I'm always up to date with what’s going on in the automotive world.

i prefer motor trend because their acceleration times are the most accurate, autoweek's time are usualy the worst. motor trend also picked the g35 over the 3 series which is something c&d will never do.

That's sweet! I'm surprised your wife lets you keep all of them. Its definitely fun to drool over all these cars which I will probably never own, but we can always fantasize anyways. I envy those guys who get to test drive all those cool cars.

Motor Trend followed by Car and Driver, Road and Track just isnt as appealing. Something about the way the items are arranged in it and their photos usually arent as good.

Well, tell your wife that it could be worse. I MYSELF have a closet of C&D mag's grouped in chronological order all the way back to 12/85! I only have one missing issue. PMO!! My first issue was on the 86' Ferrari Testarossa. I still remember the numbers... 1/4 mile - 13.1, top speed - 181 mph.
