Where to Buy Cheap 16" x 6.5" Rims for 2K2

I'm looking for some cheap alloy rims to mount my snow tires on this winter. I think I need 16x6.5 rims, but I don't want to spend too much money. Anyone have suggestions on what to buy and where to buy it? Thanks!

Cheapest would be just to get steel ones (like you see for spare tires). If you hate that look, put some equally cheapo snap-on wheel covers on it.

Look Here

Or

Look Here

Do a search on the 00-01 Maxima SE because the 02 defualt to 17" as the smallest size.
Discount Tire has the Black steel wheels in 16X6.5 for $45ea. Cans get cheaper than that.

Good Luck

Thanks for the ideas. I really would rather avoid the steel rims and get some cheap alloys. I have looked on both Discount Tire Direct as well as Tire Rack but was interested in some other options.

Would the wheel offset be the same for 16" rims as for 17" rims?

Thanks!

Well, just to clarify for the rest of us...what do you consider 'too much money' from your earlier post?

A good set of Blizzak snows on inexpensive alloys will still be over $850.00 (on average at Tire Rack).

I just bought the following from Tire Rack on 10/31/02:

4 16x6.5 5-114 Steel Wheel, New, Stock $44.00
20 Required, lugnut for vehicle N/C
4 P225/60TR-16 Firestone WinterFire $68.00
4 Mount and balance - no charge

I live in Reno, so I pick them up locally.

This maybe unrealistic, but I was hoping to spend about $80 per alloy rim (for cheapies), and about $100 on tires.
