Are 2K-2K1 STRUTS the same as 2K2-2K3?

Are the struts interchangable? If so, any 2K-2K3s want to get rid of theirs for pretty cheap?

I've heard rumors that 2K2-2K3 SE struts are a little softer than the 2K-2K1 SE struts, anybody know for a fact if there is any difference?

My 2k2 SE struts are not made by Tokico; as was reported by some 2k1 owners.

They are softer, and I wish Nissan stayed with the ones from 2000 SE. I used to have 2000 SE and the car felt much more stable.
Why do you want softer ones?

I already installed springs, so I don't know if I want to take everything apart again.

I'm not sure if I really do.

I need some temporary struts to go with H&Rs until the AGXs come out or I decide to go for coilovers(JIC, Progress).

Just trying to loose some of the SUV look until something better is available/affordable.

I warn you against opting for the 02,03 struts. Mine are so weak when the car has only me in it (195 lbs) the rear bottoms out on a regular basis and the fronts about half the as much the rears. When the car is loaded, watch out, it can get positively scary. It is like having 100,000 miles on a set of struts, no rebound control. It seems Nissan does not care to hear about problems with their cars, unlike any other Japanese manufacturer I have ever dealt with. It is like dealing with a domestic manufacturer, matter of fact I call my Nissan a Japanese Ford.

I know I hate SUV look of 5gen Maxima. I got H&Rs as soon as I could. I am running them on stock shocks and love the ride. No bouncing and looks and rides great. Everytime I see a stock Maxima drive by it just looks so ugly.

I think your shocks from your car would work great with H&Rs. I wish I had them instead of thess new shocks that Nissan installed on 2002 SE.
