wind noise 2003 maxima

I recently purchased a 2003 Nissan Maxima, I have a problem with wind
noise coming into the vehicle at speeds in excess of 60 mph. I complained at the dealership and wrote two letters to the Pres. of Nissan North America( Carlos Ghosn )as well as the Exec. VP and other memebers of the BOD and the Design and Engineering Dept.

With my second letter I requested a written response and finally received one from someone that calls herself an EXECUTIVE SPECIALIST,
she says no one else has complained about this noise, so she will make a file in case any other complaints come in.

Anyone want copies of the letters or who I sent them to if you have similar problems (there was a service bulletin on 2000-2002 for this same noise), contact me

Good luck on getting anything fixed on your car. Nissan does not care nor do they want to hear about any problems.

Send me a copy and those whom you have sent to as well.
Nissan is boosting their sales, as long as they have enough complain, they might do sth.

Thanks!!

where does it seem to be coming from.. a window? sunroof? something else?

I had a problem with a lot of wind coming from my rear driver's door. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the rubber molding around the window and it's fine now.

I had a problem with my left rear window and took it to the dealership and they too replaced the rubber moldings on the rear window but there is still a lot of wind noise coming from the same window so I'm gonna take it back to the dealership and tell em to fix it again. What can i tell them to do add extra padding or what, can someone give me more advice on what to tell the dealer?

my windnoise just comes from everywhere. it's a general noise that seems like a design flaw more than anything else. my sister's 97 galant has less windnoise than my 2k2 max. OT - i want a 540i...i was in my friend's the other day, and we cruised at 95mph, and there wans't a HINT of windnoise..just a trace of roadnoise, but that's expected i guess
